The Boycott Ottawa Webring is open to all websites regardless of content whose webmasters support our boycott of Ottawa, and who seek to see all Pesticides (herbicides, insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides) banned in the misguided heartless city of Ottawa! A ugly toxic city awash in pesticides, where having sterile green lawns and showy lifeless gardens is more
important than having healthy happy dogs, cats, and children.

On November 9, 2005 the hapless and utterly incompetent members of the Ottawa City Council failed to keep their December 18, 2002 promise to implement a very strong and resolute pesticide bylaw:

In Ottawa lawns see a toxic spray,
While elsewhere they see dogs at play.

In Ottawa young dogs gasp and howl,
While elsewhere they bark and prowl.

In Ottawa flowers drip a toxic stew,
While elsewhere they sparkle with dew.

In Ottawa butterflies stagger and die,
While elsewhere they flutter and fly.

In Ottawa gardens are sterile and fake,
While elsewhere they are alive and awake.

In Ottawa grass is handled with a glove,
While elsewhere it is cherished with love.

In Ottawa they cultivate with stupidity,
While elsewhere they garden with validity.

In Ottawa they grow despair and kill weeds,
While elsewhere they plant hope and sow seeds.

In Ottawa children sob in a pesticidal trance,
While elsewhere they merrily laugh and dance.

In Ottawa dandelions are ruthlessly destroyed,
While elsewhere they are wondrously enjoyed.

In Ottawa councillors do nothing and are toxic Sods,
While elsewhere they take action and are healthy Gods.

Stop Ottawa pesticide spraying, and save a child or dog!
